“The Masses” is a series that delves into the dehumanizing effects of consumerism, portraying faceless, genderless figures caught in its grasp. Through a combination of graphic pen, ink, paper, and digital techniques, the work explores themes of identity erosion, conformity, and societal control. Each piece integrates subtle consumerist symbols, such as payment cards and digital fragments, creating a haunting visual dialogue on modern life.
The series captures the overwhelming influence of consumerism, reducing individuals to faceless entities and stripping away their identities. The recurring motifs of fragmentation, repetition, and isolation highlight the paradox of a hyperconnected yet deeply disconnected world. One standout piece, featuring a solitary figure, offers a moment of introspection amidst the chaos, inviting viewers to question their role within these systems.
